+Artemis requires a mod to be installed into The Witcher 3 in order to work.
+
+This mod can automatically be installed from the application, but if it runs into any issues it must be done manually.
+
+### Manual mod installation
+If you happen to have any conflicting mods, an automatic installation cannot be done.
+
+_Note: If you don't have any mods, but you're still getting this message, look for a mods folder in your Witcher 3 game directory and delete it, and try again._
+
+If you wish to keep your existing mods, please follow the instructions below. Alternatively you can remove the mods Artemis reported.
+
+1. Locate the mod at **Documents/Artemis/Witcher3** if it's not there, try an automated install first. Artemis places the mod here if the automatic install failed.
+2. Copy the contents of the folder to your Witcher 3 installation (the **bin** and the **mods** folder should be in the Witcher 3 root directory)
+3. Download [Script Merger](http://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/484/?) from NexusMods.
+4. Follow the instructions on the Script Merger page to resolve the conflicts.

+### Mod removal
+If you wish to get rid of the mod, please follow these instructions
+
+1. Head over to your Witcher 3 installation
+2. From here, browse to **bin\config\r4game\user_config_matrix\pc** and delete **artemis.xml**
+3. Go back to your Witcher 3 installation
+4. Browse to the **mods** folder and delete the **modArtemis** folder (or the entire mod folder if you want everything gone).
